Designing Your LearnCenter

One of the first steps in creating your LearnCenter is to design the look and feel of it. Your LearnCenter starts out as a blank web site, waiting to be designed. You (or the Taleo Learn Design staff) will follow these basic steps to design your web site.

  1. Design the Site Header. The site header is the banner that runs across the top of every LearnCenter page. You can design it using your own third-party graphics software to create the graphics and logos, and the Header Editor to create the actual header for LearnCenter.
  2. Design the Home Page. This is the first page your users will see when they log on to LearnCenter. You will design the home page using the Page Editor to insert and customize areas of the page.
  3. Design Additional Pages. These are pages that display information you want your users to access.

You can use standard, pre-designed pages, or create your own.

Adding Multimedia and Files

You can insert a variety of file types on your LearnCenter pages. All multimedia and file resources must be uploaded to the Resource Manager before you can insert them onto a page. The Resource Manager stores all uploaded multimedia and files used in the various editors. Once uploaded, resources can be used in an unlimited number of pages and courses
